Hey guys,
As i've said many times there is no way to AFK Craft, that was how the crafting area of this game was made Dont shoot the messenger!
Hopefully this guide will help you craft a little quicker and also maybe stop you getting RSI
In order to speed up the crafting process, you can use macros to save mouse clicks which cost time and cause RSI. At this moment, it is not possible to fully automate the crafting process, but we will try to save as much click as we can to ease the process. You will need to create 6 macros and place them all on your toolbar. The macros are as following:
Macro name: toolbarslotf1
/ui action toolbarSlot12;
/pause .6;
/ui action defaultButton
Macro name: toolbarslotf2
/ui action toolbarSlot13;
/pause .6;
/ui action defaultButton
Macro name: toolbarslotf3
/ui action toolbarSlot14;
/pause .6;
/ui action defaultButton
Macro name: toolbarslotf4
/ui action toolbarSlot15;
/pause .6;
/ui action defaultButton
Macro name: Next1
/ui action defaultButton;
Macro name: Next3:
/ui action defaultButton;
/pause .7;
/ui action defaultButton;
/pause .7;
/ui action defaultButton;
After you created these macros, you must place them in your toolbar in the following way:
-->www.imagecross.com/11/image-hosting-view-08.php?id=8256toolbar.jpg<--
The first 4 macros will now activate the crafting tool above them (changing their position requires you to change the "/ui action toolbarSlot##" number, or it will not function properly) and immediatly start the crafting session for the by default selected item. This means that the first time you start crafting (and the first time you start crafting another type of item), you will have to craft one item by "manually" activating the crafting tool and selecting the correct item. After that, the crafting macro will automatically choose the last item you crafted. This is when you can start using the 4 macros to save one click.
The macro in box #5 is slightly obselete but I still found I used it quite a lot of times. With this macro "Next1", you can do one step without clicking the button (which saves a little time). The macro in box #6 (called "Next3" here) however, is much more used. This allows you to proceed 3 steps by just hitting 6 once. Both macro "Next1" and "Next3" are not restricted to any position on the toolbar.
The actual crafting process will now go as following:
Step 1: Hit F1 to boot up the first crafting tool
Step 2: Select the correct item (any survey tool for the first few levels)
Step 3: Hit 5 or click "Next" and "Confirm" on the crafting screen
Step 4: Double click the required resource (steel) enough times (4 times) until all the required boxes are filled
Step 5: Click next (for some reason, a macro will not work in this screen)
Step 6: Click next/confirm until you are in the final crafting screen
Step 7: Tick the "pratice mode" box and craft the item
From now on, you can craft all your survey tools by following these steps:
Step A: Hit 1
Step B: Double click the resources until all boxes are filled
Step C: Click "Next" and "Confirm"
Step D: Hit 6
When you start creating a new type of item (Wind Power Generators), you will have replace the Generic Crafting Tools with 4 Structure and Furniture Crafting Tools and select the new item you wish to craft. Be sure to put on practice mode again (I'm pretty sure it stays on but it's wise to check it anyway). From then on, proceed with steps A-D until you reach the required level. Using this method will speed up the entire process a lot once you get the hang of it and it will save you a painful hand too.
